The New York Festivals International Advertising Awards now in its 55th year of honoring the World’s Best Advertising announced its 2012 award winners at the award ceremony in the beautiful Celeste Bartos room of the New York Public Library. As a juror, we were there and applauded all the winners on the stages from all around the worlds.

Colorful Visitors

This morning I woke up to sounds coming from the roof. I thought monkeys play with each other. Guess what I saw when I go out to the balcony, two peafowls (Peacock and Peahen).

India is really incredible and very colorful.

Today is Holi Festival - also known as “Festival Of Colors”. It’s a spring festival and we’re right time here in Goa to celebrate it.

Happy Birthday Sertaç

We celebrated the birthday of Sertaç in Thalassa Greek Taverna yesterday. It was a magical night with Turkish melodies and Turkish Rakı.

The best drummer, guitarist and signer Cabbar Baba, who we met in Arambol Jam Session last week, joined us with his friends with their great melodies of Turkish, Greek, Jewish and Russian songs.

We had a great time with all of the people.

Also, we celebrated last year in Galata Meyhanesi (İstanbul) it was so good too.

Happy birthday Sertaç. So how old are you? 19?

Childhood Memories

I saw these tiny smurfs in an antique toy shop in London last weekend. I was suddenly rushed into my beautiful childhood memories. If you’re born in around 80’s, I’m sure that you’ll feel the same. By the way, if you’re interested in antiques and have a chance to visit London some time, Portobello street market is the most famous place which you can visit every saturday in Nothing Hill.

Last weekend we’ve discovered Palolem at south of Goa. And enjoyed our stay of two days so much. Now we’re sure that there is a paradise!

Cankat Was Born…

Surprising birthday celebration is going to be a legend for iGOAns. Last Friday was our Sr. Art Director Cankat’s birthday who lives in Eskişehir – our ‘eGOA’ branch :) We planned a really big surprise for him. We got our train tickets and head away to Eskişehir after we blow out the candles of his birthday cake on Skype video call. We had a really enjoying 5 hours train trip eating and drinking. After we got off the train, our tracking started to learn where Cankat was. We made at least 5 phone calls to Cankat without making him understand that we were in the same city. During these phone calls, we were freezing on the streets looking for him and it was already 12:00 pm. After an hour of investigation, we all decided to go to his house with an address on our hand and knock his door. And… when the door was open, there he was with a kind of shock on his face and a big scream all around! :) He couldn’t predict a little bit that we would go there to see him for his birthday! We are really good at acting and keeping secrets :) Eskişehir is a very nice city which we should visit in summer again and enjoy more. We spent amazing 2 days hanging around the city, thank you Cankat! You can check out the photos of our story here…

We found an extraordinary way to say happy birthday to İrfan and we decided to shoot a video for him. We had so much fun while doing it and it will be a nice memory for all of us. It’s is something like everyone wants to have one :) Don’t pass without watching it!
