Last Friday was our Sr. Art Director Cankat’s birthday who lives in Eskişehir – our ‘eGOA’ branch :) We planned a really big surprise for him. We got our train tickets and head away to Eskişehir after we blow out the candles of his birthday cake on Skype video call. We had a really enjoying 5 hours train trip eating and drinking. After we got off the train, our tracking started to learn where Cankat was. We made at least 5 phone calls to Cankat without making him understand that we were in the same city. During these phone calls, we were freezing on the streets looking for him and it was already 12:00 pm. After an hour of investigation, we all decided to go to his house with an address on our hand and knock his door. And… when the door was open, there he was with a kind of shock on his face and a big scream all around! :) He couldn’t predict a little bit that we would go there to see him for his birthday! We are really good at acting and keeping secrets :) Eskişehir is a very nice city which we should visit in summer again and enjoy more. We spent amazing 2 days hanging around the city, thank you Cankat! You can check out the photos of our story here…

We found an extraordinary way to say happy birthday to İrfan and we decided to shoot a video for him. We had so much fun while doing it and it will be a nice memory for all of us. It’s is something like everyone wants to have one :) Don’t pass without watching it!

Actually i’m not a museum guy and after high school i only visited a bunch of museums and those visits were only because of my guests visited Istanbul. When i heard about this Space and Air Museum, i knew that this place will be a mind blowing experience and the information with the visuals / models / actual planes inside will be so cool. And guess! Yes it was a mind blowing experience to see an actual mining device which has landed on mars and tried to find h2o for us! Or the planes fought in World War II (there is a great red baron replica inside) was waiting for you to see..

I saw a lot of museum, historical and natural places in DC but, believe me when i say that visit Space and Air Museum, i mean it…

Also, inside the gift shop you can find a great lightsaber replica which will cost you 100$ but it worths every penny if you are fan of Starwars.

The most amazing thing about museums in DC is that you don’t need to pay an entrance fee. One of the presidents (that i can’t remember right now but i will update this post after i find the name) gave his house to government and demanded (for exchange) that every museum will be free. And now, every museum in DC is free to enter.
